Startup cofounder wanted

LinkedIn, can you help me find someone amazing to start a company with? 🙌
I’m proud (not humbled?!) to report that we just began work with our 17th and 18th founders here at DQventures. That’s a portfolio of 18 brilliant professionals, who are starting (or already started) their own venture, WITHOUT first giving up their day job.
Founder #17 is SR. She’s a stone-cold FAANG exec, who’s connecting people who recently re-skilled with companies in Singapore that want exposure to up-and-coming tech.
Founder #18 is SR. He’s a Western-educated Bangladeshi, who’s bridging the gap between the amazing English-speaking tech community in his home country and the Western employers he’s worked with in AsiaPac and beyond.
But there’s no rest for the wicked.
We’re now on the lookout for our next batch of aspiring founders, who would probably have set up a company YEARS AGO, if only they didn’t have bills to pay…
This is where we step in.
We’ll invest hundreds of hours of our time to help these aspiring entrepreneurs launch their own company, so that they don’t have to give up their salary to do so, risking their family’s livelihood in the process.
We’ll help them:
- validate their idea;
- build a prototype or “minimum viable business”;
- land their first customers;
- if needed, raise capital; and
- remain on hand as advisors after launch.
In return, we take a 20% stake.
So LinkedIn, can you help us unlock this unloved category of amazing founder talent?
Pls help us put the word out by:
- If you know someone who should be running their own company, send them this post.
- If you think startups shouldn’t only be for people with a trust fund, working spouse, or people who can live on their best friend’s sofa, please like and share.
We believe the best founders are already out there working. They’re developing insight into a sector that gives them a clear unfair advantage. They already have an idea. They just need help to get started…
Thank you!! James 💚
